I'm going to go pick by pick here assuming there will be no trades even though it's inevitable that there will be.
1. New Orleans Hornets - Anthony Davis
The Hornets got lucky on winning the lottery for the number one overall pick. Given all the fishiness surrounding David Stern it's not all that surprising. He denied rigging the lottery to Jim Rome. If you haven't heard that conversation, I suggest you YouTube that. Anyway, there really isn't much left to be said about Ant Davis other than he's been the clear-cut #1 overall since about January.
2. Charlotte Bobcats - Thomas Robinson
The team that won only SEVEN games this past year somehow did not get the number one pick in the lottery. Since losing out on the Anthony Davis sweepstakes there have been several different rumors about what the Bobcats are going to do with the pick. They could trade back a few spots and take Harrison Barnes (MJ's boy) but if they kept it they'll go with Kansas' Thomas Robinson to bang down low with Bismack Biyombo.
3. Washington Wizards - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
The Wizards could really go anywhere outside of PG with this pick but they should just pick up MKG. He's probably the most talented SF in this draft, just a notch or two above Barnes. The Nene deadline deal was an interesting one but they were able to trade away Rashard Lewis' contract just a few days ago for Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor. They'll be set in the frontcourt with MKG.
4. Cleveland Cavaliers - Bradley Beal
The Cavs will probably also end up with a number of options (as do most teams) with their pick. If the Wizards don't take MKG, the Cavs will. The Cavs could also take Barnes at #4. I think they should take Florida's Bradley Beal because it would form a good, young backcourt tandem with last year's #1 pick Kyrie Irving.
5. Sacramento Kings - Harrison Barnes
The Kings are pretty set in the back court with Tyreke Evans (even though I think the clock is ticking) and in the front court with DeMarcus Cousins who probably doesn't want to be traded anymore since he got Paul Westphal fired. Barnes would be a the pick for me if I were the Kings' GM.
6. Portand TrailBlazers - Damian Lillard
If there's one pick I've watched that hasn't changed much, it's this one. Portland taking Weber State's Damian Lillard with the sixth overall pick. They say that Lillard is a dangerous shooter from mid-range and beyond. A very prolific scorer in college with an NBA-ready body is always a nice combination. Can he distribute though?
7. Golden State Warriors - Dion Waiters
Even though they took Klay Thompson with their first pick last year, they'll need some help in the backcourt with their first pick this year. Waiters had a great year for the Syracuse Orange in '11-'12, off the bench no less. I think that shows that he's a good teammate. He didn't have to be the star of the team even though he was arguably the best player. I'm glad to see Waiters shooting up teams draft boards. The Warriors tanked just enough to keep this pick.
8. Toronto Raptors - Kendall Marshall
The Raptors need a good solid starting point guard. Kendall Marshall is the best true PG in the draft and I'd love to have him on my team. Jerryd Bayless will be a great scoring option off the bench with Marshall in the starting lineup, feeding the ball to DeMar DeRozan and Andrea Bargnani. Some say Marshall can't score but I think he'll be fine. He prides himself on being pass-first. Just look at his Twitter bio.

The Bucks may reach a bit for Terrence Jones |
UConn's Andre Drummond is generally regarded as an NBA project after just one year in the Big East. He might need an organization like Detroit that has some good, young talent around him in Brandon Knight and Greg Monroe. That could be a hell of a frontcourt tandem in Drummond and Monroe if Drummond can develop some post moves. He's got ideal size and body but just needs time.
10. New Orleans Hornets - Austin Rivers
The Hornets are going to be looking for back court help after taking Ant Davis #1 overall. Enter Austin Rivers who has risen up draft boards quite a bit since May. Rivers is an aggressive scorer that can create his own shot. Some say he demands the ball too much which is a concern but hey, someone's got to score, right?
11. Portland TrailBlazers - John Henson
If Jared Sullinger wasn't dropping faster than panties at a Dierks Bentley concert, I'd say he's the pick but he's really no longer in this vicinity of picks. John Henson has the ability to be a premier shot blocker in the NBA and has some offensive game. He's small which means he runs the floor with the best of them but will be bullied in the post until further notice.
12. Milwaukee Bucks - Terrence Jones
Ahh the Bucks...I could do a 1,000 word post on who they'll take but I really have no idea who they're going to take. I feel they're big on John Henson and might try to trade up for him. There have been some rumors going around that the Bucks might go for the #2 pick. They better not take Henson at two. I'd rather they not take Henson at all. Terrence Ross worked out today and if they like him he could be a choice here because Monta Ellis will probably be moved at some point. Terrence Jones to me is a guy that isn't very high on draft boards but was probably over-shadowed on that loaded Kentucky team. He'd be my pick given that the John Hammond is looking for the most talented guy on the board when they pick at twelve. I really don't want them to take Perry Jones. We don't need another project or a guy who doesn't get it.
13. Phoenix Suns - Terrence Ross
Ross, in my opinion, will most likely be the pick for the Suns if the Bucks pass on him. They'll need someone who can hang around with Sebastian Telfair or whoever is the Suns PG. Ross can even play some point himself for Phoenix. The only thing the Suns don't need is center help with Gortat being there, not to mention they used their first round pick on Markieff Morris last year. The Suns are headed into full re-build here really soon with Nash on his way out and severall other free agents like Grant Hill, Michael Redd and Robin Lopez. They might also grab a guy like Perry Jones who has a ton of potential but might not be ready right away.
Alright, I've talked like I have a clue for long enough. This draft is going to be quite interesting because it is so deep and nothing's really clear cut after about the top three picks.
There will probably be a few trades in this list as well. Who knows?
