Bucks Buzz: April 10

Even though it has been a bad year for Milwaukee thus far, Mitch Pratt and Charlie Tritschler will provide you with a bi-weekly update on the Bucks ranging from recaps, links and other neat stuff.

Quick Recap:

Wednesday vs. Indiana: Pacers 104 Bucks 102 -

This tank is indestructible. The Pacers rested all five of their starters for this one and they still beat your Milwaukee Bucks. In a way, I was hoping the Bucks would win just to spite Frank Vogel for slapping the Bucks in the face like that, but really, I had my eyes on the prize.

The Deer were lead again by Brandon Knight, who had 25 points and 10 assists. Anyone who says Knight isn't a good basketball player, should be punched in the face. He might not have the greatest point guard skills/instincts but he can score and get to the hoop with the best of them. He'll occasionally show off his distribution skills as well, as pictured last night. Jeff Adrien continues his beast-like run with the Bucks as well. How does 13 points and 17 boards sound? The guys is like 6'5" tops and he's arguably the best rebounder in the league.

As for the Pacers, this game was a resounding win. They rest all five of their starters for Friday's tilt in Miami and still managed to get the victory. Also, they get good games from key guys in their bench rotation going forward. Evan Turner had 23 points and flirted with a triple double, as did Luis Scola, who poured in 24 points on 11-17 shooting.

Turner hasn't really had much success since coming to Indy. He's shown his true colors in my opinion. He's just not that good. However, if he can get some buckets to go and get rolling, he's a really handy guy for the Pacers' bench.

Links

Here's a link that contains a Vine with footage of Zaza asking referee Dick Bavetta for help up from the floor. There's no way Bavetta could pick Zaza up from the floor. Dude's so old, he'd turn to dust if the wind blew more than 40 MPH.

That's really it for links this week. When's the draft lottery?

What to watch

I'm interested in seeing what Jeff Adrien can do the rest of the way. He's obviously playing for a contract but you can't question the guy's tenacity. Here's to overpaying the guy in the offseason!

What's next?

The Bucks will face Cleveland at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Friday. Then, they'll head to the nation's capital for their final match with the Wizards. I fully expect both games to be losses.
