First Taste: When The People Cheer - The Roots

The Roots are a busy group. They are still the house band for Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, but they are also putting out a new album this coming out sometime this year. They have released their first single off the album, and it is a good one. The title of 'When The People Cheer' you think the song would have big production behind it, but in reality, it is a slow down, more serious song about falling into superficial love. I am pretty sure the song also is referring to many of the hip-hop songs out there where they are referring to all songs out there looking at the women's looks and nothing else.
