Everyone is Mad at Flyers Fans

To be blunt, Philadelphia Flyers fans showed their ass on Monday night. Flyers marketing department handed out light up bracelets for the fans for a tribute to their late owner Ed Snider. The Flyers fans lived up to Philadelphia's reputation by throwing these bracelets on the ice after a cheap hit by Pierre-Édouard Bellemare on Dmitry Orlov.

Am I surprised? Not really. Philadelphia's fan base adds to the narrative about being the most crass in the country. They boo Santa Claus, cheer Michael Irvin and throw bracelets on the ice for their innovative owner who passed last week.

This isn't the fans' fault, this is the marketing department's error for thinking the Flyers' fans could handle an object like a bracelet.
