A Timeline of The Gomez-To-New York Deal That Didn't Happen

I have no idea what happened tonight. It's been a top notch Twitter night and I don't think it's going to be topped in awhile in the baseball world. 

7:00 pm - Everyone on Twitter said Carlos Gomez might be dealt to the New York Mets. It was getting hot and heavy like a makeout session in your college dorm room.

7:30 pm - There is some give or take both ways that the deal is even closer to getting done or there is still a ways to go.

8:10 pm - Official news from the MLB AT-BAT APP that Gomez had been traded to the Mets for Zach Wheeler and Wilmer Flores.

8:15 pm - Some stupid podcast goes on and talks about it like it's concrete facts.

8:30 pm - Martin Maldonado takes a sweet selfie wishing Gomez the best of luck in New York.

9:10 pm - Mets keep Flores in the game which was weird seeing New York traded him. He finds out and starts crying on the field.

10:15 pm - WAIT A SECOND, THERE'S NO DEAL. WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING
