Being a Viking Fan at Packers' Shareholder Meeting Seems Dumb

There was no sneaking into the stadium or dropping hundreds of dollars on enemy stock. As it turns out, it was surprisingly easy for Vikings fans Bill Martin and Lynn Webber to gain access to Tuesday’s Packers shareholder meeting at Lambeau Field, proudly clad in their purple jerseys — Martin in the throwback Randy Moss and Webber in the new Teddy Bridgewater.

All it took was a friend who was a shareholder. Mystery solved, and some personal curiosity satisfied. (Via Star-Tribune

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why Minnesota Vikings fans would want
to go to the Shareholder's Meeting at Lambeau Field. Like I have not the slightest idea. I have never been, but it's not on my things to do list in the summer time. I've heard from other people, it's simply a meeting to talk about last year's earnings plus hanging out at Lambeau in the middle of the summer. I believe it's the chance also for fans to get their hands on merchandise. Just like the people wearing Chicago Bears jerseys at Brett Favre's retirement, it's what teams do when they are little brothers. They don't have their own cool things to do so they check out what's happening at Lambeau.

Charlie.
